As a team leader I have worked with various stakeholders in order to promote positive school culture.
For the last two years I have had the honor of working with the administrative team to plan graduation. Last year we invited a local author out to speak with our graduating class. It was rewarding to see the reaction from the students.
As team leader, I have reached out and formed partnerships with local restaurants in order to provide breakfast for teacher work days or just a pick-me-up during the week. Most restaurants are eager to work with our school and give back to the teachers.
I also attended legislature hearings regarding education. I believe advocating for students is one of the most crucial components of education.
